Quantitative management

Quantitative managementQuantitative management defines specific KPIs — quality metrics — which are measured to ensure that QA procedures and quality-related processes flow as planned. Quantitative management is used as a base for operational management and strategic decisions regarding the quality of a software project.

Quality metrics are collected for a certain time frame to define the baseline for each indicator. The most important cases to look at are those, which significantly differ from the expected or planned level. Impulsive changes (whether up or down) of some indicators may signal something going wrong. After the analysis phase, we develop a plan to influence some or all indicators, improving the process and resources involved. When the plan is ready, it is implemented and tracked again to confirm that the measures are effective and sufficient.

Test Documentation

Coverage and format of test documentation may differ depending on a project. In each case, it makes the process transparent, provides easy visualization of test results, and ensures deep and overall test coverage. TrustQA develops and presents to the client test plan, test cases and execution results — three key documentation sets. Updated regularly, these universal documents are the most relevant, knowledge-transferring means for the development, testing and management teams of clients and software services vendors.

Methodologies

TrustQA smoothly integrates QA procedures into both iterative and cascade software development processes (Waterfall and Agile based). We easily adjust these procedures to the methodology modification adopted by each particular client. In other words, our actual Quality Assurance process is represented by intersection of TrustQA’s industry best practices and clients’ needs.
