How we do Quality Control

How To Begin

Our constant practice and continuous research on improving our collaboration strategies has helped us create simple and rapid project launch procedure for our customers and partners. We are open for communication 365/24/7.

  • INITIAL QUESTIONNAIRE

When we receive a new client's request, we respond with our Project Questionnaire. It contains project-relevant questions and takes just a few minutes to complete and return.

  • TRUSTQA COST ESTIMATE

Once we receive the information filled in the Project Questionnaire we discuss all essential project details, TrustQA business experts respond with a proposal within two business days.

  • PROJECT DISCUSSION AND LAUNCH

When a project is confirmed, we'll discuss Project Testing Plan and other project details, client objectives and preferences, project schedule and final fees. After we have reached agreement on these points and signed a contract, we are ready to begin the work on the project.

Approach

Proactive Value-Added Cooperation
Team approach at Trust QAWhat originated in TrustQA's early days as our core team's service-delivery attitude now has transformed into a corporate culture and our customer-service trademark. Unparalleled attention to detail and a genuine drive to excel, coupled with deep technical knowledge and the ability to see the broader business picture, are engrained in TrustQA’s teams at all levels.

With a thorough knowledge of the SDLC, TrustQA helps clients, independent developers, systems integrators, Independent Software Vendors (ISV) and enterprises of all sizes unveil the potential hidden behind Quality Assurance process and procedures. The results delivered by TrustQA often serve as a foundation for setting business objectives, helping justify resource allocation for testing, quality assurance and quality control to achieve the highest possible return on investment (ROI). Finally, these results help our clients to take solid plans for strategic changes and market decisions. At TrustQA, we believe we deliver more value per billed hour than any other software testing provider.

Tracking Issues

bricks smManagement System to track Bug or Defects allows customers and TrustQA to create a single portal where we can collect information about all software defects, create bug reports and monitor overall process of project quality verification, which is mainly important when working with multiple clients.

TrustQA's specialists have developed issue-tracking expertise from more than 40 projects completed for clients in an array of various industries. TrustQA can quickly implement an issue-tracking solution in one of the following options:

  • Defect tracking is on a customer's premises, TrustQA has access to add and modify entries;
  • Defect tracking is on TrustQA's premises and a client has access to add and modify entries.

Often, the choice of the proper bug tracking system is central to the overall success of the project. After reviewing the existing QA strategy of a client and the project’s particular testing goals, we will select the proper issue-tracking system in three steps:

  • Analysis of the current situation and development of recommendations;
  • Documentation of the bug-tracking process and employee training;
  • System installation and configuration.

Quantitative Management

risk cost benefit software quality assuranceAt TrustQA we have developed comprehensive methodology for evaluating performance of the team working on a software, on a project, on a technology or business domain. The quantitative management methodology presupposes comprehensive measurement of multiple indicative metrics, and reflection and analysis of their dynamics. This all-embracing examination of team and individual progress provides the customer with an unprecedented, transparent view of the project.

The Metrics

qa control metricsThe set of metrics used for analysis, evaluation and tracking varies depending on the specific project criteria. Project managers can introduce any additional metrics that they deem feasible, valuable, or conductive to make project more efficient.

The baseline set of metrics, which TrustQA teams use as a starting point projects of all types, sizes and duration (where measurement is technically possible) are:

  • Percentage of Function As Designed (FAD) defects Profitability
  • Defect validation performance (speed of defect check)
  • Percentage of To Be Reformulated (TBR) defects
  • Percentage of Rejected defects
  • Active defects by importance
  • Defect processing time
  • Overall defect density
  • Defect life cycle
  • Defect boost
  • Productivity
